Orchestra Miami’s free outdoor concert series returns to Pine Crest Gardens with a tantalizing double bill program that features Beethoven’s complete incidental score to Goethe’s play, Egmont, accompanied by English narration and soprano soloist Robyn Marie Lamp. The second work on the program is Schubert’s Symphony No. 4 in C minor also know as the “tragic” symphony. Drawing inspiration from his idol, Schubert modeled the symphony’s opening theme on Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 18 No. 4.
