Renowned chef and “MasterChef” winner Alex Belew brought his culinary prowess to the Fort Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival with an unforgettable cooking demonstration on January 18, 2025. Famous for his inventive use of fresh, seasonal ingredients, Alex showcased his artistry through a dish that has become synonymous with his name: his celebrated carrot creation.

The demonstration was held in the festival’s chef’s pavilion, where food enthusiasts and fans of Alex gathered to witness his skills firsthand. The atmosphere was alive with anticipation as Alex introduced the dish: a visually stunning roasted carrot medley served atop a bed of carrot purée, garnished with spiced nuts, a tangy yogurt drizzle, and microgreens.
